Now I dont know who your are referring to, but I am the last person “Scared” to death of Joe Biden.
Now for the democRATS? You bet they are scared to death of him. When he is hauled back out of his coffin again, the gaff machine will be in full bore.
I doubt very much he will be the nominee, UNLESS, they can somehow manage to keep him IN his coffin till after the convention.
People keep wishing, hoping, praying that Biden is going to be replaced. He isn't. He is who will be on the ballot for the Democrats come November. Time for people to accept that and drop the insanity that the Democrats are so God-awful stupid that they'll run Hillary again. They aren't.

He will be the nominee and as I have said time and time again, it won't be Biden that Trump is running against. He's running against a trashed economy, unemployment above 15%, a $6 trillion 2020 deficit or more, and Covid. That's what he needs to beat.
