If Trump wins again and with a Dem. Senate, all judicial nominees are DOA unless Trump tries to find “moderates.” So retiring judges won’t be replaced for two to four years.
Trump could let the positions stay empty then and not nominate judges. He’s already got younger conservatives in place now so when the older lib judges age out, Trump can let those positions stay stagnant and give a posited future Dem dominated senate nothing to do.
