An influential Virginia sheriff has rejected a request from Gov. Ralph Northam’s administration to enforce the ongoing business lock-down in parts of northern Virginia.

Culpeper County Sheriff Scott Jenkins said that he and other law enforcement were contacted to help enforce the closures in the area that reaches into northern Virginia’s Prince William County, home to many federal workers.

But the sheriff, who has advised the White House and vowed to fight proposed gun grabs from state Democrats, said that he will not help enforce Northam’s Executive Order #61 that maintains the weeks-long economic shutdown.

Next we should hear from others of the 90 plus sheriffs— who are also 2nd Amendment Sanctuary protectors. Protecting their people in their counties against this moron Tyrant governor in black face. A governor who does not abide from his State’s own motto as a “consideration”.

I believe this is the same sheriff who vowed to muster a militia of able bodied citizens to fight it out with Northam’s forces if a gun grab was physically attempted. Mote power to Jenkins.

not that its come to this point (yet), but dictatorships always fail once their army/police/goons are no longer willing to shoot their own people.

Protecting their people in their counties against this moron Tyrant governor in black face.

This sheriff's county, Culpeper, is not included in the Northern VA counties who wish to remain closed. Northam has asked him and sheriffs elsewhere in Virginia to help enforce the shutdown in NOVA. Appropriately, he was told to pound sand.

The real businesses... private businesses and any manufacturing facilities get to continue being shutdown, because of the NOVA county’s “leadership” and the population (largely NOT working or “working from home” as fedgov employees— which in itself is a joke, because it does not affect them one whit that NOVA is shutdown- they still get paid, they think they are producing something. Six figure fedgov clearly “non-essential” personnel).

This Northam slaps real businesses, the remaining farms, and small businesses (and possibly some really big businesses, private ones) in the face. Lot of buddies all over VA, SW, Central and Mtn people— they are seriously pissed at this joke of governor who is doing the bidding of McAulliffe the clinton bag man liar who is still around, and that moron Atty General with the flagrante ti-ti problem. Richmond needs to revolt. Really admire the VCDL people and several sheriffs- one whom met in the mtns. These are real Constitutionalists.

Agreed. Northam knows that the government teat-suckers in the couple of NOVA companies that want to remain shuttered are responsible for keeping VA blue. Northam also knows that this shutdown is barely affecting them. The joke is that he thinks he can ask the red counties surrounding NOVA to help him.

At least one Sheriff in Virginia has the balls to do their job, legally.

Now to see if Arlington County’s female Sheriff will follow his lead. Doubt it esp. since the county’s new Commonwealth’s Attorney is a Soros bought and paid for Marxist-type.

Culpeper County Sheriff Scott Jenkins …

Oh, damn, I misread it for a second: nope, does not say Arlington Country Sheriff..."

Just yesterday the County put police tape across parking lot entrance to our local park.
