#2 is important. Just last week NY reported that recently the vast majority of Wuhan Virus positive people in the state are people who have reported they were strictly following the “Safer at Home” guidelines.
How is this possible? Because those people were likely isolating themselves as much as possible but, they still had to leave their residences to shop for life essentials. And, while they were out they were exposed.
All the “Safer at Home” is doing is delaying the inevitable. It will not save lives. Eventually, you have to venture out and live your life. Almost all of us do and when we do we will be exposed. Most will survive. Some will succumb. Such is life.

What you wrote is heartfelt and true. We can’t stop the virus.

The “stay at home” pitch was all about “flattening the curve”, not reducing the total number of deaths, but of not overwhelming the hospitals.

The notion that this can be contained is absurd.

And even in deep blue Commiefornia, I’m here to tell you, people are DONE with the stay at home. Tonight at Venice beach, hundreds of people were mingling on the Venice pier, marveling at the bio-luminescent surf.

We might actually be close to civil unrest if the ‘Rat governors don’t back down.

We beat a worse pandemic, Spanish Flu, a century ago without a vaccine, and without achieving herd immunity. See my reply above.

Folks who truly believe in herd immunity should arrange Corona parties and deliberately infect themselves. Sure, a % will die horribly, and a % will suffer permanent lung and kidney damage, but that will be a small price to pay for achieving the holy grail of herd immunity!

Go for it, herd immunity boosters! Arrange and attend Corona parties! Shut up and do it!

(We beat Spanish Flu without a vaccine and without herd immunity.)

Disagree.

You need to know how many people who were infected while observing stay at home orders a);live in high rise housing and 2);took public transportation to obtain essentials.

All the “Safer at Home” is doing is delaying the inevitable. It will not save lives.

That's how the lockdown was initially sold to the public. "Flattening the curve" so as not to overwhelm hospitals. Well, it was flattened, and hospitals have plenty of beds and ventilators in non-use. But how the derp state is trying to push permanent home imprisonment because the new goal post is "safe". Life isn't safe.

Build herd immunity now - against all the bugs we spread around amongst ourselves, not just WuFlu - or America is f_ked when the Winter months arrive.
