Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer (N.Y.) on Tuesday incredulously demanded to know “what planet” (President Trump) is living on after Trump said during a press conference on coronavirus testing that the U.S. had "met the moment" and "prevailed.
Schumer blasted Trump on the Senate floor for “a stunning disregard for the truth.”

President Trump’s “prevailed” comment in context:
“In every generation, through every challenge and hardship and danger, America has risen to the task. We have met the moment, and we have prevailed. Americans do whatever it takes to find solutions, pioneer breakthroughs, and harness the energies we need to achieve a total victory.”
This is Schumer’s and democrats only chance to try to beat Trump in November. So, no matter what Trump does, it’s always not going to be enough or just plain wrong.
Schumer cannot stand Trump, especially after he made Nancy and him look bad in Trump’s meetings with them in 2017.
Schumer and democrats are infinitely more dangerous to the U.S., than Al-Qaeda and ISIS and China and Russia and Iran and N. Korea, put together. Democrats are the enemy within.
Schmuck is a dishonest Democrat. He cared not that agents were caught telling lies at the Waco hearings, didn’t care that Schiff presented a fake transcript at the impeachment hearings, didn’t care that Pelosi made up remarks about ‘Injecting lysol’, etc.

I remember him “visiting” his constituents after the superstorm, Sandy. He looked the part. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

The governors of the states with some of the worst CV records are being praised by the media, bragging how their lockdowns saved us from a far worse disaster, but Trump can’t say the country as a whole has “prevailed”?
