Five Western states including California have called on the federal government for about $1 trillion in aid to states, said Gov. Gavin Newsom said Monday.

So, you may think that writing Congress or calling them does nothing. That's simply not true. I'm a little older than some here. We torpedoed Bush's bad immigration bill in 2006 by hitting up Congress hard. Let your Republican Congressmen and Senators know that they're going to get primaried if they support this bailout of fraud, waste, and abuse.

NO bailout!!! These Silicon Valley and Hollywood elites love to talk about how much smarter they think they are than us, so figure it out yourselves, geniuses.

At this point the numbers are so outlandish as to be meaningless. Yes, let’s just give them $1T. It’s all fiat currency. Why not one quadrillion dollars? Or maybe one quintillion dollars?

I was at the bank yesterday and noticed the FDIC sticker on the window. I chuckled: “Backed by the good faith and credit of the United States government.”

State governments asking the federal government to bail them out.

Do the states think the federal government has some money that does not come out of the states?

And if the state governments can have the federal government bail them out, who can the federal government go to to bail it out??

All the Congress critters from all the state governments that are managing O.K. should vote no to bailing out the states that can’t take care of themselves.
