I want to agree. I badly want to agree with you and there is no doubt it was Graham’s finest moment.
However, I cannot get past the fact that he is a snake. A complete snake. All hat and no cattle.
Graham has a position in the Senate where he could have legitimately investigated what happened to help preserve our Republic against the coup. He has made many promises and yet he has done NOTHING.
Graham is the King of Empty Promises. I am sick of his appearances on Fox. He talks and we cheer, but he never follows up on anything. All he does is talk.
Hannity is a fraud too. Why does he never call out these GOP champions? I cheered loudly enough to scare my kids last night when Matt Gaetz said what he did on Hannity. Where was the GOP leadership the last 3 years? Why did Gowdy not go on television and throw down the gauntlet that what all these people on the transcripts were saying publicly directly contradicted what they said before the house committee?
How would this be different if every one of them had gone on television and said “Clapper is lying on CNN or he lied before our committee”? “That is not what they told us under oath”.
Where were they? They allowed this farce to continue with little opposition for years!!!!!!!!!!! They knew. They were in the room when all of these people said they did not see any evidence of collusion. They were silent.
I get that direct statements were “classified” in the hearing, but why could they not have stated clearly to the American people that “all of these people on television talking about collusion are lying.”
They said nothing. They rarely defended the President. Why has Gowdy not been asked to explain his “the American people would want the FBI to do what they did” statement?
I feel like we got played by the very people who were supposed to be on our side who actually had the ability to do something about it.
P.S. - my respect for Matt Gaetz went through the roof last night. He justifiably called out his own party and I will not forget it!
Further consider this about Graham -
The only things he introduced or actually did protected Mueller and the coup. He was the #1 defender of the special counsel farce. #1.
I cannot forgive him now that we see what a complete farce it was. He was in a position to know or find out long ago and what did he do? He defended Mueller.
