I'm guessing it's better in some respects, and worse in others.

Flynn might have been better equipped to pursue a civil lawsuit if the judge had ruled in his favor on the matter.

Perhaps, but Flynn’s lawyer should have no problem making the case on a preponderance of evidence standard.

Would have to think that DOJ and his prior lawyers will settle out of court. They can’t be that stupid. Write the check now and avoid even more painful discovery.

What about prosecutorial misconduct? Is that a possibility?

Flynn will never get the “false evidence” against him. that was a crime committed against him. The 302’s from the FBI, Agent pienks and his former Law firms collusion are big factors.

Flynn has a better shot at malpractice suit against Covington and Berling. Boil them, in oil, and they have mucho dinero

I think he can go after all of them personally, in civil court, and get a bazillion dollars. He was harassed, and financially harmed to the max. It looks like there are thousands of pages of documentation to support a case.

Go, Sydney, go!

I think she’d be a good replacement for RBG. Heaven knows she could take any heat the RAT Senators would throw at her in hearings. She has proved she can handle anything.

The FBI was prosecuted for the overreach that let Bill Ayers walk free after he bombed the Pentagon.

Go for criminal charges against the FIB not just civil charges.

"Flynn might have been better equipped to pursue a civil lawsuit if the judge had ruled in his favor on the matter."

There is a motion to withdraw a guilty plea and a motion to dismiss from the prosecution. I think the judge would be on solid ground granting both motions. How could he grant dismissal of charges with a valid guilty plea?

Both of these motions do not reflect well on those filing them.
