"Much better because (a) Sullivan cannot be safety predicted to dump it..."

I can't imagine Judge Sullivan, being a Clinton appointee or not, is happy with the fact that he, and his court was jerked around for all these years with what the DOJ has now declared an illegal case from the beginning. He was lied to by the prosecution from day one, and his courtroom used for political purposes. And he went along with it because he was gullible enough to think it was all on the up and up. It makes him look like a fool, that doesn't know what is going on in his own courtroom.

He sure has been to hell and his family, too. They have lost so, so much and the left is saying he admitted to lying. They make me ill!

I hope he sues big time!

I agree Judge Sullivan should have taken action on this, but DOJ stepped up and did the right thing.

"Barr is Trumps hand puppet in 3, 2, 1 ..."

They can say that all they want, but Barr appointed an outside U.S. Attorney Jeffrey Jensen from St. Louis to review the criminal case against General Flynn. It was on Jensen's recommendation, that Barr dropped the case. The left and the media will keep saying Flynn lied to FBI agents, but what they won't say is that those same FBI agents had no legal basis to question him in the first place.

Flynn lied? No, the FBI fabricated evidence to charge him with lying... That’s it.

Judge Sullivan is on record telling Flynn you sold your country out.

"That would seem to demand some accountability."

People using the power and authority of their position to conduct witch hunts, and create a crime where one doesn't exist, all for political and personal gain. That's what it all boils down to.

Another article says the case is not over. Just because the DOJ withdrew, Judge Sullivan already has the case, and Flynn has already pled guilty. Sullivan can still make a decision if he wants.

Worse, now the media will spin it as politically motivated.

OK, but I think the judge has to sign off on the dismissal.

"Michael Flynn's resignation was the first falling domino that led to Attorney General Jeff Sessions' recusal from the Russia investigation..."

What a fool Jeff Sessions was, and he will have to live with that decision the rest of his life. He turned tail and ran, without even letting his boss know his intentions. President Trump should have accepted his resignation back in 2017 when it was offered. My mother always said everything comes out in the wash, and although you might not think so at the time, things usually do work out for the best in the end. The fact that this stuff is coming out now in the months before the election, are a plus for President Trump in the long run. He's being vindicated for everything he's claimed all along.
