Years of continuing malfeasance, cover ups, stonewalling and no serious effort at accountability or reform. If there was any REAL concern about cleaning up the FBI it would have been done by now.

The game they are playing is to wait out the Trump administration and hope that he’ll be gone. After that, its right back to business as usual.

Barr knows what’s going on but he does nothing.

To paraphrase the stupidest President in history, Trump will have "more flexibility after the election."

Yep, Republicans seem to be incapable of mounting a united front like the Democrats do. Nor do they demand results from their elected officials. They’re simply not fighters.

It’s not that they can’t fight, it’s that they are collaborators and participants in the overthrow of our government.
Things don’t get fixed by these kind of people going to prison.

Things get fixed when our government officials are terrified for their lives and occasionly pay the penaltt for their betrayal.

Traitors only understand one thing... execution. Immediately after a speedy trial or tribunal.

I couldn’t agree more. If not a Civil War just might break out.

Can some please explain Flynn’s thought-process about hiring Eric Holder’s firm to defend him? People in the Obama regime had already tried to have him fired 5 years earlier. There are thousands of other lawyers in the swamp. What was he thinking?

Here’s a pair of dumb questions that may not be so dumb:

1. Were the FBI interview forms (the 302s) ever entered as evidence in a court proceeding?

2. If not, then what legal relevance do they have to the case at this point?

Oh, it was too small to read for me, as I have macular degeneration. I really didn't even notice the email posted by Andy McCarthy, so I never clicked on it to read the email. Thanks for clarifying that for me. 8>)

Note: I had to use my heavy duty magnifying glass to read it, 8>)

As is natural, when you get in trouble you call the lawyers you have worked with in the past.

Unfortunately for Flynn, the lawyers he worked with in the past helped him/advised him of the filing of FARA forms. And Flynn was being accused of breaking the FARA laws.

If Flynn was convicted of a FARA violation, his lawyers would face liability, and lose a lot of credibility with future clients. So it was in the lawyer’s best interests to get Flynn to cop a plea on something other than a FARA violation.

Clear cut case of conflict of interest. To find out that they may have actually worked with the prosecution to hide/alter evidence that would convince their client - whom they had a duty to defend! - to take a plea to a crime he did not commit is absolutely unethical, criminal, and worthy of losing their law licenses. They can learn a new career - making license plates for 18 cents an hour, if this is true.

“””If this is true, Flynn will own Covington & Burling when this is done.””

Hope so and may thy all end up in jail for this..even Eric Holder who works at Covington (assuming he played a hand in it also)

A revolution succeeds or fails because of its leaders. General Flynn might just be pissed enough to lead We the people against the Deep State. I’m sure that President Trump wouldn’t hold him back.

They are hiding Pientka out in San Francisco to keep him away from scrutiny. Cushy job. They scrubbed their websites of info on him. Disappeared. Hmm...

He should avoid Fort Marcy Park and late night walks in Georgetown.

If you ever go into a IRS office for an interview, try and pull out a recorder to establish the actual conversation.

You will be told it isn’t allowed and the agent will probably terminate the interview completely if you ask to talk to his supervisor.

It went that way for me some years ago and they left me alone for a long time. Then I got an attorney and he worked them to death and they dropped my inquiry again.
