RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Gov. Ralph Northam presented his reopening guidelines for Virginia today during his update on the coronavirus outbreak in the commonwealth.
Northam said the state will have three phases to open up. Phase I will allow businesses to re-open with limitations. For example, people can go to the hair salon but will need to make an appointment. Also, restaurants can reopen but will need to limit their seating to allow for social distancing.
He said phase I will likely last three weeks and won’t happen until at least next week.
Bankruptcy courts will be busy as well as bank housing forecloses and cars being repossessed.

My take.
The Governors are feeling the heat and are desperately searching for ways to open up their States without appearing to back down to the peoples increasing anger.
This just breaks my heart. So many people’s dreams and hard work just crushed by this asshat.
I don’t know....Northam is an idiot. And his health commissioner is worthless. Plus, Northam owes, the dem party, Soros, Bloomberg, et. al. for not forcing him out of office last year. He’s paying off all of them
He is putting it to his sheep. He is putting them through the Wringer. But Don’t worry. As soon as the Democrats get vote by mail and A Democrat is occupying the White House, and the Democrats control the Senate along with the House this virus will disappear.
Speaking of court, why can’t small biz in VA, or all biz for that matter, file a class action suit against the gov/VA?

The problem as I see it is that no business is non-essential. All business are necessary to make an economy viable. With this garbage we have see the effect of oligarchs determining which business are non-essential.

You have made a very good point. In Connecticut, the closure/shut down was scheduled to last to at least May 20 unless otherwise changed in the governor seems very firm on that. After a few weeks Of several hundred cars circling his residence in State Capitol for a couple hours he changed his tune to implement phase 1, or whatever he calls it, on May 20. He doesn’t wanna look weak like he back down to Cuomo or the DNC so he is slightly relenting.
Of course he would...this has been all about driving the President from office...from the moment that Twenty-Five- Thousand-Dollar-Freezer Pelosi ripped up her copy of the State of the Union speech in which the President mentioned the dangerous nature of the virus and his plans to deal with it.

Va’s and Md’s numbers are up near a thousand new cases a day, BUT I would bet the geography points to those numbers being in and aroundvt hff e Beltway, as DC’s numbers track with Md and Va. Northam should allow less infected parts of t hff e state to open. But he won’t.
Same thing in other states and here in WA as well. End of June our Dear Leader says which puts people almost four months behind in mortgage payments, car payments, etc.
Governor Blackface and Commissioner Clown have changed how the testing data is collected/reported. Now, they’re reporting every test separately. Before, each person was counted once regardless of the number of tests that person received.
I don’t believe any of the data.
Take out deaths in nursing homes and see whats left, who was infected, and how
