History of response. Initially shutdown international travel into the U.S. base on the data they had. Lockdown has never been the response to any virus in the modern age. Dr. Erickson tested 5000 cases based on this testing 5% of the population is infected. 12% of our tested individuals were positive for covid. That means 4.7 million cases which is the good news. We have seen in California 1200 deaths or 0.03% chance of death. Does this necessitate quarantining the entire population?

Millions of cases, small amount of death.

So far no one has been willing to say the COVID is a bio weapon, but it has certainly leveled the playing field for China. President Trump come the closest by saying that China sent us the COVID from Wuhan while preventing travel from there to other places in China.

LOL

Everyone will now draw their conclusions and connect the dots the way they want.

If we hold China accountable, then maybe they and the entire rest of the word should hold us accountable for the above surface nuclear tests we did. For the fact that you can detect radio active trace elements in folks all the way to Europe today.

Maybe it’s true. Unlikely, but maybe. But in either case, so what? What are we going to do about it? Cut off trade we want? Do you see folks really looking at where stuff is made while shopping at Walmart? LOL Is the US politician going to refuse the campaign contribution from a US based Chinese company (and thereby avoiding foreign contribution restrictions)? And those pushing US policy makers today to take more action, what did they do in the 70s, 80s and 90s when it was profitable to go to China to exploit the cheap and unlimited supply of labor?

When I hear folks in the US complain about China today, I am not sure how to react. We created them! We lectured the rest of the world about the merits of globalization. We led the charge with China, long ahead of the Europeans. Our law makers with big corporations standing behind them were telling the pubic how the Chinese need most favorable trade status and full perminent membership to the WTO under Bush H even as tanks were rolling over pro-democracy protesters on Tienanmen square. Later, Clinton was proud of his accomplishment, of getting them permanent most favored trade status with the US, even as Christians were persecuted and oppressed and you had forced abortions... Then came George W and he also supported them... and now 40 years later when the Chinese develop their own domestic economy to the point where their big corporations are crawling on the back of US big corporations, crushing us on a global market offering their goods at a fraction of the price to ours, NOW we have a problem with them. LOL

Ever wonder why the Navajo Nation is hit hard by C-virus but the tribes of Oklahoma are not in as bad of shape?
