Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said Monday the Trump administration is prepared to back additional stimulus money to blunt the economic pain of the coronavirus pandemic if necessary.
"If we need to put more money out to support American business and American workers, the president is absolutely prepared to do that," Mnuchin told FOX Business' Maria Bartiromo on Monday.

It’s all fiat money. My as well be monopoly money. There’s nothing to back it up. With all this worthless paper floating around chasing a finite amount of goods and services, it seems to me that inflation should shoot up. But that hasn’t happened yet.

I'm single making well over the limit for even reduced payments so I don't expect one. My sister and brother-in-law are in the same situation as a married couple. My parents got theirs within days of the beginning.

Our local NBC affiliate ran a ‘Question of the Day’ this morning asking whether or not the Fed should GIVE $2,000/month to each adult in a household making less that $130,000/year. Not kidding. The Left is floating a guaranteed income idea that GIVES more than most SS recipients receive in a month. And SS recipients payed into that Agency every day of their working lives.
The Left obviously thinks the Pandemic Closures have assured they have enough people who want the Government controlling them cradle to grave, to get things passed that otherwise wouldn’t be able to be done. (Like all mail-in voting, too)
