ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Slain U.S. journalist Daniel Pearl’s parents have petitioned to the Pakistani Supreme Court seeking to overturn a ruling that freed four men who had been convicted in 2002 of involvement in his killing, their lawyer said on Saturday...
“A bare perusal of the entire record would reveal that there was a plethora of incriminating evidence, both forensic as well as oral, which proved that murder was committed and that all the accused persons aided and abetted the murder,” the appeal petition said.
Islamist militant Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, a Briton of Pakistani origin who was sentenced to death in 2002 for masterminding Pearl’s murder, had his sentence commuted last month and three of his aides who had been sentenced to life in prison were acquitted for lack of evidence by a high court in the southern port city of Karachi.
Pakistani authorities however ordered the four to be kept in detention for three months.

Daniel Pearl’s parents should be celebrating the release of their son’s killers.
They are not thinking clearly.
Now they can dispense with the niceties and impose the law of
the ancient rule of blood price followed by radical Islam.
The pearls do not have to ask for money from their son’s killers according to the old rule. They can just take their lives as recompense. The Pakistani authorities would not be able to stand in the way.
Use the old Islamic law , right where it is still used there where these murderers are now located.
I wonder how long before the killers are hired by U.S. colleges to be “Diversity Officers” or whatever it is called.
Who came up with the idea of emptying the prisons and at the same time stop the selling of guns or closing gun stores and putting a high tax on ammo?

It would fall back to the situation, can a Christian make the same demand a Muslim would demand. I’d lay money down on what the answer would be.
Especially if you substitute ‘Jew’ for ‘Christian’. The Pearls are Jewish and I’m wondering if that fact played into the release of these terrorists. Muslims hate Jews more than they hate Christians. But they do hate both groups with a white hot fervor.
I think those 4 should keep an eye open for a circling bird overhead, maybe some sort of ‘predator’ watching for them.

Not a problem. Christians and Jews can play the game of taquiya just like any Muslim.I can make myself Muslim very quickly, just a few ours reading, and attending a couple of services at the mosque , i can be in like Flynn.
Besides the Pearl family are Jewish, are they not? All the better and more delicious for them just to use the ancient Laws in their favor.
