That’s my recollection as well. The beach communities have their own police forces.
Helicopters, boats, vehicles, lifeguards.
My God, the people participating in that should be ashamed of themselves.

There isnt a doubt in my mind these assholes in our governments intend on mass execution by means of ignorance.
If there is one thing that has to be done is that the populace needs to be let out in the open. No to keep distances between each other? Yes. To limit visitations to health and elderly facilities? Yes.

The OC Sheriff doesn’t patrol Huntington or Newport Beach. They do in San Clemente however, but that’s a state beach. State Parks has their own Po Po.

But outside of this readership, and others who seek out similar Insight and information elsewhere, very few have not been infected with the Panic.
I have friends who live in a rural town with 225 residents in a county with 20 Coronavirus cases. Last week their twenty-something daughter went nuts on five children all under age seven who were playing outside without masks in a playground 500 feet from her window. Told them “WTF you morons go home.” She has COVID-PD (Covid Panic Disease). Sad, very sad, as the President might say.
Thousands of people in Newport Beach and hundreds in San Clemente took to the shore.
What could go wrong.
I can imagine an environment more inhospitable to viruses than a beach. Salt water, desiccating wind, lethal UV...
So many people are idiots, and they elect idiots to lead us.
These totalitarians need to be crushed.
From what I see it's the lifeguards and city PD's, not the Sherrif(thought I can't read the article, refuse to take their ads). I don't recall seeing or hearing anything like this in Huntington Beach last weekend or or the one before. The defiance will only build with temps going into the 80's this week.
