Those old white guys like Madison and Jefferson did not hold Democracy’s in high regard. They leaned towards a Constitutional Republic.
But I know what you meant. :)
I had to gig you on that as it’s a burr under my saddle whenever I hear someone in Office refer to “our democracy”.
