Women do NOT belong in high level positions of great responsibility. The largely lack the tools to make pragmatic decisions and most are far to emotional. A trait they are unable to curb when it becomes necessary to do so.
Gov Blanco was totally over her head trying to deal with Hurricane Katrina and abdicated her responsibility to have in place a plan to cover the emergency for the 3 days it would take the Fed gov’t to respond. Every State is required to have such a plan in place. She became so overwhelmed by the situation she broke down and cried.
Governors do not cry when faced with life and death situations....they ACT.
Both her and Nagin the Mayor of NO were defeated in the next election with Ray Nagin going to jail for taking bribes.
Women can’t be governor? Gee....from everything I know Sarah Palin did quite well and so is the Governor of South Dakota. As a leader Margaret Thatcher wasn’t too bad.
Obviously some women are ill equipped for leadership...but so are some men.
However, I do think a lot of rat women officials bear a grudge at the world.
What people rarely remember is that FEMA was in place before Katrina hit landfall. IIRC, the Governor has to "request" Fedgov assistance before FEMA can begin operations. She hesitated for 3-4 days even after W asking her to make the official request early on. I saw his written notice to Blanco. Then you had the Mayor of Nawlins bug out as quick as his Jordan's could run.
The above is what is happening since COVID arrived after we got better info from lying Chi-Coms. Either incompetence, politics, control freaks and hysterics driven by the usual MSM suspects.
women cry....wow....strong arguement.....NOT!
......”Women do NOT belong in high level positions of great responsibility”......
I agree....and I (a woman) have worked with and for both.
