People with seasonal allergies should wear masks. If they unknowingly have the virus, unmasked sneezing will spread it. If they don’t have it, unmasked sneezing will scare the carp out of those around them.

Everyone here has worn a mask, for three months now. They have been legally required now for everyone in public, for two entire months.
Deaths/million = zero.
The country is now opening back up.
I agree that it helps to deter spreading, however, using the likes of Taiwan in comparison to the USA is rather faulty, as there are other factors to explain this, and the vast majority of deaths in the US are in NYC where mask wearing is the law, and it is very prevalent in my city, which has the most deaths in the state.
