The way almost everyone who has bought into this mask-wearing fad selects, applies, wears and maintains their mask renders it completely ineffective as a filter against the virus. Don’t you understand this fact?! It’s not difficult to understand if you think about it for even a minute. By wearing a mask you are doing nothing, zero, zip, nada, non, nil to protect yourself or anyone else (which is not your responsibility no matter how much you want it to be) from this flu. I am not sorry to have to burst your security blanket — your “portable safe space” with reality ... you need to know this!

Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind
In this darkness which you know you cannot fight
The darkness of the music of the night

Let your mind start a journey to a strange new world
Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before
Let your soul take you where you long to be
Only then can you belong to me

"There has already been one accident caused by wearing a mask while driving. The driver fell asleep due to getting less oxygen. I won't get on a bus with a driver wearing a mask. >"

....... Unless you are a Bus, Cab, Uber, Lyft etc driver why would anybody drive with a mask on in your own vehicle with your own people in the car .......

i was wearing a mask loosely today while mowing to help keep pollen and grass from getting in my lungs.

Got really light headed.
Would not want to work all day in one.

The disease can be spread by coughing, or even by heavy breathing (running, shouting, etc.). If people wear masks in public places, they protect other people.

You aren't just ignorant -- you're dangerously ignorant. Does George Soros pay you to post such disinformation here, in order to give Trump supporters a bad name?

Slippery slope. Even though school vaccinations are supposed to be mandatory, there are plenty of ways for parents to avoid the requirement. Only about half the population gets the annual flu shot.

When we have power drunk governors issuing edicts that deprive people of their civil liberties, including mandatory house arrest, all in the name of public health, there needs to be some push back. The Constitution can't be made conditional on the basis of pandemics and the "public good." Who decides what is in the "public good." What are the limitations?

My biggest concern is how compliant the public has become meekly accepting these infringements on their civil liberties. And frankly technocrats like Fauci have made some poor public policy decisions. Now that we have more data, it is obvious that the schools should never been shut down. And our efforts should have been far greater in securing nursing homes and assisted living facilities where 25% to a third of the deaths occurred.

You left out the part where those numbers are out of date, and very incomplete. You're spreading deadly-dangerous disinformation.

"Therefore, the data shown on this page may be incomplete, and will likely not include all deaths that occurred during a given time period, especially for the more recent time periods. Death counts for earlier weeks are continually revised and may increase or decrease as new and updated death certificate data are received from the states by NCHS. COVID-19 death counts shown here may differ from other published sources, as data currently are lagged by an average of 1–2 weeks."

So can you get you hair cut in MA if you wear a mask or is it only essential business there?

I am so very sorry to inform you that you have digressed far below my considerable ability to help you ... you truly have and that is very sad indeed. I apologize for my failure to help you, even though you did not request my help (as you must surely understand ... I was only trying to be "socially responsible".)

Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of the rational portion of your mind. I will celebrate with you on the day you regain control of your severely damaged emotions. Please let me know when you are on the road to recovery. Sincere best wishes, your "best-est pal" in California

The N95 requires constant attention to your own breathing, and it’s work. The fabric masks don’t worry me at all, except as a distraction.

Gentleman in my small group at church passed 4/4 of covid, his wife passed a week later of the same. That said, they were both early 80’s with multiple health issues, covid was the “nail in the coffin” so to speak.

It happens, but there are numerous co-morbidities at play.

Agreed! I’d drive from GJ to shop at your store. I have made it my personal mission to NOT shop at any business that posts a sign saying masks are required.

I work in the operating room and until last month we wore masks to protect ourselves from blood/fluid splashes and our patients against “Junior Mint moments”. We changed them every few hours and had no illusions that they were protective against any bacteria or virus. For that, we need PAPRs or respirators.

There It Is: CDC Equates Coronavirus Hospitalizations to Seasonal Flu and Finally Admits It’s MUCH LESS Dangerous for Children
Gateway Pundit ^ | 05/02/2020 | Jim Hoft

I posted this information after watching the video of the doctors discussing how the Covid-19 death reportage is artificially inflated by listing patients WITH Covid, along with things like COPD and heart failure, as dying FROM Covid. I listened to Dr. Brix say on video, "...we don't have flu anymore". Yes - that's right, we stopped reporting ANY flu in her little talk. I've seen the distortions and along comes news at Gateway Pundit and several other twitter accounts including D'Souza starting to leak out the corrected data.
