Among them was a tweet from Ryan Fournier, national co-chair of Students for Trump, who wrote, “No, President Trump did not tell people to inject themselves with Clorox or Lysol. If you believe that, you’re a moron.”

Fournier said there’s a grass-roots digital army prepared to defend the president when his back is against the wall.

“I see the people on Twitter,” he said. “I see the Facebook groups. I see the posts across these networks. I see the websites people have created to support the president. It’s tremendous amounts of stuff that I’ve never seen in a presidential election before.”

Hougland agreed. Republicans, he said, “have greater volume frequency and quality of digital narrative.”

So Hoguland does not want people defending the President and dispelling the lies about what he did or didn’t say. Bastard

What I found interesting and I did not know is that they are paying high profile people to bash the President. So I bet all the stars that come out and say crap about the President like Rosanne Arquette” are getting paid for that.

Liz, Made another scan of DU and it's really astonishing to see the lack of enthusiasm for "the guy in the basement".

• Overall volume of discussion is low. One thread has 98 comments, then it rapidly declines from there.

• Biden's potential VP pick threads get a lot more coverage than Biden. A couple of Reade threads.

• Plenty of Corona virus anecdotes.

• Lots of Trump hate and criticism. Plenty of anguish, but not so much "hope".

• Only highly-discussed thread about Biden is an amateur 30 second anti-Trump ad showing Trump complaining about being treated horribly in the press. Neither Biden's face nor voice appear in the vid called "Cry me a River."

The only thing the guy in the basement has going for him is the "D" next to his name.
