Actor Robert Redford is a Trump-hater and climate change nut. And the coronavirus pandemic allows him to indulge in both passions, writing NBC op-eds about how bad the virus makes the president look and how it also presents us with an opportunity to make our post-quarantine lives part of a new climate-conscious collective.
Ah yes, a green communist future. Never let a crisis go to waste.
The legendary actor wrote a guest column for NBCNews.com advocating for a transformation to our society while us normal Americans are stuck at home without too much say in the matter. He began by recognizing how hard the situation has been and touted new new lessons that we have all learned throughout this crisis.
Of course crises like this allow time for reflection, but for nuts like Redford, the lessons weve learned are that President Trump and our previous power structures have been unfit, and that the future society needs to be built on Green New Deal politics. He wrote, Here in the U.S., we have seen the cost of failed leadership. As the pandemic began its global march, President Donald Trump failed to act quickly and decisively, likely increasing its toll and worsening our pain and suffering.

He is on LSD and sees nothing but illusions!
Ah, actors living down to their intelligence mean.
“He is on LSD and sees nothing but illusions!”
LOL! Is Greta Thor his daughter? HOW DARE YOU STEAL MY THUNDER cover-19!
Thanks for posting and commentating. Detached TOTALITARIAN BUBBLE nutcases. Where’s Bobby De Nutcase? Where’s Ghislaine?
And that is what it is really all about... saving the environment and getting rid of President Trump by trashing the economy and destroying lives.
Covid 19 (that autofill stuff sucks)
What’s up with these “causes”? Are they BIG tax write offs for these gangsters?
The whole movie industry is the ultimate in a monumental polluter, starting with movie production to all the elites flying around the world to various “film festivals” in their private jets.
Movies are one of those feel-good things we could easily do without. So many films have been made that it would take several lifetimes to view them all.
Why not just shut down the entire industry, stop making any new films, and save the world from all that wasteful carbon? People can continue enjoying the immense film library from decades gone by.
Now that would be REAL “transformation.”
How I wish these ignorant assholes would just stick to their craft and keep quiet about their politics. Knowing their politics, I have to suspend disbelief TWICE when I watch one of their movies - first to pretend what’s happening in the movie is real and second to pretend that actor or actress is an intelligent human being who doesn’t want to eliminate all Deplorables.
Green economy = No jobs. No jobs = No money for movies. No money for movies = You are obsolete.
“You are obsolete.”
In the current “Imprimis” from Hillsdale College, Larry Arnn wrote, “It is offensive when any member of our government, expert or not, addresses us chiefly as carriers of a pathogen to be kept indefinitely in our homes.”
Isnt this guy about 15 years past the allocated lifespan for those who desire to save the environment?
Interestingly, COVID-19 has given socialists everything they have ever wanted. And in an election year to boot.

What does he care about how people actually sustain their lives? Hes a millionaire and he aint got 10 more years of life
Well at least he bought a ski resort and returned it to its natural state. Oh wait..........nevermind!
Good, we’ve bought another 12 years, Bob. Now go away.
Redford’s got his; he doesn’t give a $hit about working people.
OK, Bobby. You live your millionaire life and condemn the little people to lives of squalor and want to fulfill your masterbatory fantasy of some effing Green Deal.
Tell you all what ... There is very little I miss after cutting off most of Hollywood from my Watch List. It’s crap anyway. But;
BUT, it hurts to know I will never watch Out of Africa again. I used to think I would make an exception for this one movie (as I do for Dave Matthews), but I can’t.
I mean, after Caddy Shack, Out of Africa may be the best movie in the whole world.
