By political reporter Stephanie Borys
Yesterday the PM urged all Australians to download COVIDSafe, saying the sooner they did so, the sooner they would be able to go to the pub.
“It’s like putting on sunscreen when you go out into the blazing sun. You can’t go out in the blazing sun unless you’ve got that protection in place,” he said.

follow-up to comment #44 re Australia:

Australia: pop 25 million. 93 covid deaths, majority from cruise ships, returning residents & aged care facilities.
as of today, there are just 28 cases in ICU (Australia has 2,000-plus ICU beds).

30 Apr: 7 News: Coronavirus Australia: No patients left in ICU in South Australia as state records eight days (now ten days) without new cases
Spurrier says while South Australia’s cases remain lower than its eastern counterparts, no early lifting of social distancing restrictions would be taking place...

ENDING AUSTRALIA’S AGGRESSIVE LOCKDOWN IS NOT EASY. BETTER STEP UP NOW AMERICA, OR YOU MIGHT END UP IN THE SAME ABSURD SITUATION AS THE AUSSIES.

That NYS contract tracing boondoggle is the same thing #HeilHalfWit tried to pull off in MI until she was caught.

This is the same gov that made nursing homes take back WuFlu patients from hospitals and whose health department was allowing asymptomatic postive nursing home workers to come into work.
