divorce totally favors the woman on the assumption women good, men bad

ready to be offended at the drop of a hat

bossy and controlling, she thinks she comes across as confident and in charge

yup why aren’t more guys wanting that in their lives

That's one aspect. Modern men-children don't trigger their tripwire. They may run with one if that's what's handy - better than nothing at all from their view. What can happen - and often does - if a guy that puts out alpha vibes wanders by they'll chase him like the last man on earth.
