China’s culinary habits may kill us all yet.
So cultural things (confederate flag and monuments) should remain because you know cultural things are good. Or are some cultural things more cultural than others?
Is this another chinese propaganda article?
Wet markets in China; politicians’ wet dreams in America ... pretty much the same result.
Simple answer - the virus started in a lab, not the wet markets. :)
Nice try, lady. How about we just shut all of China down.

After we pull our factories out of China and no one has any reason to go there again and we strictly control travel to here, who cares what crap they eat?
The author has nostalgia for back when people were dying en masse from dysentery and cholera... We’ve had refrigeration for a hundred years now... use it.
Pathetic arguments. Headhunting is cultural as well. Should that be continued?
So, let me get this straight - this person feels nostalgic because her mother went to a wet market to gossip, so it’s okay to keep them going even though they could infect the entire planet with a killer disease.
Actually, the piece reads more like blatant propaganda.
Ban all travel to and from China or anyone who has been to China from another country in the last 60 days without full quarantine or optional physical and blood tests at the expense of the traveler.
If the wet markets are that important to them, do that.
I could give two craps about what is important to damned Chinese effing culuture.
All cultures are equal and must be respected even if they make you want to throw up. /s
Why do I get the feeling China was the last country on earth to quit using round rocks for wheels?
The Marines used to have a saying that someone had gone Asiatic. It was a synonym for out of your mind from being in China too long
I checked my list of things I give a good God damn about and I can't find that one anyhwere.
Might as well get rid of Meat Inspectors in our Slaughterhouses as well.
I still remember reading the Book “The Jungle” when I was a Kid. It was full of Socialist BS, but it shined a light on the Unsanitary Practices in processing Meat.
I wonder of the Author likes his Wet Market Dog Meat coming from Animals that were Boiled Alive and/or Tortured to Death.
