Yep. The head of Tyson put full page ads in major newspapers just the other day announcing a shortage. There are still many Americans who can slaughter and butcher cattle, put them in freezers and can them. They simply don't have connections to current farmers, and too many ranchers operate with contracts to each sell to one particular feedlot or processor instead of selling in auctions.
