Shhhhh
And property taxes aren’t bad.
Here in IL, that’s the case. It’s looking like we’ll be the first state to declare bankruptcy.
Is this Mayor a native Tennessean or a transplanted Illinoisan, I wonder?
Welp, enough aholes from out of state finally outvote Nashville. The leftism virus never stops.
Any place that has a rat mayor or town council, etc.
Trump will be blamed for not funding every budget in the US.
Very true Sky and it will be fascinating to see how these cities and states deal with it. In the past, they paid the pensions and cut current budgets and/or laid of workers. This is basically some cities in California, Illinois, but this will now touch almost every locality/state.
Heard that crime is up seriously in Nashville. Is this true and what is public opinion on it?
It happens in many states and counties. Florida is a Purple state because retirees from the Northeast move to Florida to retire and vote the same way they did in their Leftist states.
Californians move to Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, etc...to escape the disaster of high taxes and crushing regulations and, vote the same way they did in California.
There’s a Truism, You Can’t Fix Stupid. But, Stupid Does Metasticize.
Yep.
You're right about that.
Nashville and Memphis are Democratic strongholds.
The rest of the state are Conservative Republicans.
Trump won Tennessee 65% to 35% in 2016.
WSMV News said if you own a $300,000 dollar home your taxes would INCREASE $750 per year.
What I fear is that the bastards will finally use this as a reason to try and impose a State income tax on everyone.
Seeing how the Msyor is responsible for the lowered tax income by his unconstitutional decrees, I figure his administration should be in the hook for the shortcomi6.
Try spending less like everyone else in the city has to BECAUSE OF YOU MORON.
Expropriate the Expropriators

A democrat who went to Harvard and worked on Wall Street.
The best kind. /s
The real problem is a drastically undersized police department for a city of 700,000. That’s been the situation for some time now.
Or cut half your workforce and half your welfare benefits.
State income tax is unconstitutional. Given what happened under Scumquist, a Republican pol would be suicidal if they proposed that.
It happens ... my County doubled my Property value a year after Hurricane Harvey
I offered to sell to them ... they know it is a farce
Tennessee’s government isn’t so much reaching across the aisle as it is a reach around. Hence good people don’t want to go there and that’s a damned shame.
