Sweden's ambassador to the U.S. believes the country's controversial strategy of imposing only limited restrictions — and not locking down the country — is bearing success, with the capital, Stockholm, on course to reach herd immunity in the next few weeks.
"About 30% of people in Stockholm have reached a level of immunity," Karin Ulrika Olofsdotter told NPR. "We could reach herd immunity in the capital as early as next month."

Yeah... I don’t think so.
With some of these guesstimates of millions of undiagnosed asymptomatic cases, the Covid-19 virus would have to be the most contagious virus known. If it is that contagious, then reaching herd immunity is impossible. With measles, the most contagious virus known, herd immunity means ~95% of the people must be immune in order to break transmission. But these stories going around that covid-19 is orders of magnitude more contagious (biologically implausible, but okay), herd immunity would require even a greater proportion of immune people, if not 100% immunity.
There are also reports that antibodies might not provide immunity, or that immunity might not last long. If either of these turn out to be the case, then herd immunity is flat-out impossible.
And there are reports of 99.1% survival.

Something to keep in mind is that the data is quite suspect. Whether someone dies of the virus or not depends on who is counting and how. I could could many deaths by ingrown toenail per million if I count everyone who dies with an ingrown toenail as having died of an ingrown toenail.
We have a vaccine for measles, that is why we have “herd immunity”
Sweden isn’t getting herd immunity
They are getting sick
And already started social distancing
Hospitals are already flooding
It is going to get ugly there
I would not be surprised they kick out foreign or even national media
These “perfect” European Utopias always block the bad press when the SHTF
It will be hailed in each country that theirs was the way, as the approaching Summer puts this thing into remission.
The question is, was this the attack by China, or is it the return of this in the coming November?

This is settled science based on the past. See link. Herd immunity threshold is a function of how contagious the disease is.

I have not seen any reporting that claims that COVID is anywhere near as contagious as the measles. You’ve seen that claimed somewhere?

Healthy get infected , not sick. Are you worried about the young and healthy for some reason?

Measles R0 > 10. CV R0 is estimated in the 2 range I thought.
I would be hesitant to use the term “settled science,” especially with COVID-19. That’s because COVID-19 seems to be very different than a lot, if not most, other infectious diseases in that such a high percentage of people who are infected are asymptomatic. Therefore calculations of how contagious the disease is, the percentage needed for herd imunity, etc. are very problematic.
