Coronavirus shutdown orders will be extended for much of New York beyond the current mid-May directive, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Monday.

“May 15 is when the PAUSE regulations expire statewide,” said Cuomo in an Albany press briefing, referring to his orders prohibiting non-essential business and gatherings. “I will extend them

New York city should be locked down until the mayor rides the subway to work every day and rides a common elevator. The rest of the state can open like normal people, and as soon as reasonable people feel it is safe to do so.

I keep hoping I’ll wake up to a country where sanity has returned. Ugh.

Close the elevators and subways and that will reduce the case number by 90%.

Luckily, I am fine financially..... but if small business owners in New York want to obey this tyranny, I have no sympathy for them

For New York, I think they should lock them all up for 6 months. That is where most of the virus is, and should be given the most strict application. They have ventilators, vibrators, and lots of N 95 Masks..they are good to go, and sit it out.

Isolate the healthy in their homes.

Infect the frail in nursing homes with COVID.

Deny HCQ to COVID patients who don't go to hospitals.

Do not resuscitate people with heart failure.

Sounds like a plan.

I never repost something I have posted on another thread, but this one I think is important:

“Somebody has got to stop these governors. I read about the law that the MI passed halting their governor’s insanity, which of course she will veto. But what the law said was that a governor could not declare this type of total shut-down emergency without the approval of the legislature, and it had to be limited to two weeks and could not be extended unless the governor got approval from the legislature again. That’s what we need.”

I think we the people in our states have got to stomp on these petty tyrants immediately. Contact your state representative or senator!

“Close the elevators and subways and that will reduce the case number by 90%.”

Governors and mayors don’t climb stairs unless it’s down to the cellar to visit with their mushrooms.

I would suggest the following response from the NYPD: “Since you released 1500 prisoners from the city jails, we’re kinda busy right now and don’t have time to deal with a few people who aren’t staying at home.”

It better not be extended in my county! 4% tested positive from a group of suspected exposed people. Zero deaths.

Why am I locked down? Actually I’m not.

Cuomo was never really that great.

Especially as he infects nursing homes.
