Arizona Republican Governor Doug Ducey sits on the Board of Governors for an institute that is accepting state health department funding to conduct Coronavirus testing in the state of Arizona. That institute happens to be an affiliate of a nonprofit that is working to develop a Coronavirus vaccine that is not expected to begin clinical trials until late 2020. Insiders tell NATIONAL FILE that Ducey might not be a trustworthy leader in the cause of re-opening the state economy. Ducey is delaying setting a firm date on re-opening the state, citing safety concerns while testing is underway. Ducey presides over legislature-approved state emergency spending and also a portion of his states $1.5 billion from the federal government.

Public employees are not missing paychecks; so early openings are not imperative for them.
And they are afraid if they open up and the number of cases increase, they will be blamed.
Hence, they have no incentive to open up early.
Promise you this, promise you that,
But when they get in,
They'll leave you flat.
Won't even know you.
You have to march to get what you want.
Ducey was the moderate in the primary when he first ran. He beat a gun control advocate and a guy who wanted to eliminate the Mexican border. I’d vote for him again against those two.
In the hundreds of postings here in Free Republic rarely is this brought up. Its Known As Reciprocity. We should be treating anybody illegally crossing the Mexican border into the US the way the Mexicans do;
Any American illegally .crossing into Mexico. Before being kicked out can get a heavy fine and possible imprisonment.
Its time we consider illegal entry by any person who is a non Mexican citizen illegally entering the United States through the US Mexican border a defacto Mexican citizen with limited Mexican constitutional rights subject to their laws while transiting. As well as any Mexican citizen entering illegally exempting those who do so legally.
According to the Mexican constitution Americans legally in Mexico get a 2nd class treatment. Besides being unable to vote one must also be a citizen to own land and Mexico is very restrictive about granting citizenship. Because of that a US citizen besides not being able to vote, and cannot have title in their name to any land property in Mexico. Its time the US should consider making that reciprocal.
Prohibit and fully legally enforce punishment to violators offering any illegal entrant employment, voting, and land ownership privileges .In other words the incentives to those thinking of sneakimg into this country are removed and those that do better expect expulsion no job no voting no landowning ..
I one hundred percent agree with you. Good points all.
I hope Hildy reads this.
I looked on local news websites and have seen nothing about this!
He made a statement in 02/2019 that he thinks all children should be vaccinated for measles. Perhaps this is the same company that was developing the measles’ vaccine. Here is the link to TGen:
They do a lot of testing and I’m skeptical of believing everything on the internet. This could be part true (Ducey is on the board) and yet he was pro measles vaccine not necessarily pro COVID-19.
More research should be done before we bump him to the curb and believe this site.
This search gives an idea of where he stands with regard to vaccines but so far, nothing other than this article with regard to his being on the board of said company.
I think he should be confronted so that people know for sure with regard to his being on the board.
As do I. It is definitely a conflict of interest in any case that he was on the board and maybe still.
