These yahoos demanding a return to “normalcy” are like watching lemmings hurl themselves over a cliff. These same folks will refuse to wear masks, practice social distancing, and other mitigation. They are deluded so badly they just cannot discern truth right now. Their panic is overcoming their senses.
Yeah. We could reopen if people would behave in a reasonable manner.

But no they will behave as idiots, and we will see a sharp spike in cases and deaths. Making the sacrifice we made for nothing.

The masks don’t work. Social distancing is a joke. The reality is, if we get those who are most vulnerable to a point where they’re cared for and supported and isolated to prevent massive deaths, we can eliminate most of the problem. Most people, this is like a mild to bad case of the flu. It has been completely mishandled by the political insanity of the left. From outlawing treatments because Trump dared mention it to housing sick in the same buildings as the most vulnerable among us, it has been proven that the left is bound and determined to kill as many as possible, and leave this destructive set of policies in place until after the election.
There is no science backing the masks for many reasons. Simplest two are that the virus passes through without issue, (as is proven by scatter tests repeatedly) and that people are not trained to use the masks properly.
There is no science backing the shutdowns (as has been shown repeatedly by many studies). The only science involved so far with this whole fiasco is political science.
It is going to be hard for us to recover from the devastation that the left has created. There should be criminal charges against deBlasio, Cuomo, Newsome and many more.
There won’t be, but they should be behind bars for their complicity into the deaths of over 80,000 Americans from their actions. They want to blame Trump, but they are lying. They want to put masks on you to see if you comply. They want to practice “social distancing” to control you. What good is 6 feet of distance between two people going to do if the virus is actually able to spread 14 feet from a cough and 25 from a sneeze? But, hey, you go ahead and believe. When they come along and order those who haven’t been exposed yet to get into the cattle cars to go to special protection units, you’ll gladly line up, 6 feet apart, with your masks, to go?
