I've been disappointed that the death and new-case curve hasn't been dropping faster. In fact, it goes down and then spikes up again. A couple of days ago we had the most single-day deaths since the beginning.
Despite that, there are 20-25 states every day that have fewer than 20 deaths per day, and most of those have fewer than ten. We need to re-open those states soon - many counties even in the hard-hit states have had no deaths at all.

Here in TN we have statically zero cases and deaths. I hate my gov for shutting us down.

In fact, it goes down and then spikes up again. I'm not a stats person but I work with numbers my entire life. I see wave like patterns in the numbers. So like when you stand near the ocean while the tide is going in or out you will get some waves that are high. If there are waves they might be attributed to how reporting is done, how doctors make care determinations and other factors. I think a rolling average is necessary to evaluate patterns.
