Beavers and termites and seagulls make no apology for what they do. If, as they suppose, we are no more than animals, why should we feel guilty? And if we are superior to the animals, then we have a right to be here and to use the earth for our own species’ benefit.

I love clean air, water, soil. We should take care of that. But we should not feel guilty for living, and should not get discouraged if we don’t know how to fix some problems. We are a work in progress, and God isn’t finished with us yet.

That seems like such a simple observation, but it is beyond the Left.

If we are “just animals”, then we do what we do, and you might as well criticize a whale for the moral failing of eating plankton.

If we are “more than animals”, then get into God’s Word and help us live moral lives in accordance with His teachings.

But the Left rejects God and also rejects us over our moral failings. I don’t think you can have it both ways.
