Tucker Carlson blasted American universities and the federal government Wednesday night after some of the country's richest colleges received $14 billion in coronavirus aid money meant for small businesses.
"University presidents get to pay themselves and they pay themselves more than you might think, a lot," the "Tucker Carlson Tonight" host said. "Columbia University, for example, is getting $12.8 million in bailout money despite having an $11 billion endowment. The president of that school, a person called Lee Bollinger, makes more than $2 million a year."
Carlson name-checked other institutions who benefited from the aid, making special mention of the amount of money paid to the football coaches at archrivals Michigan and Ohio State -- two universities which received federal money.

We get exactly zero return on any money spent on most universities these days. The only thing we get is a walking dead army of self centered Marxist idiots it seems.
They should be made to exist on their own merit and shouldn’t get another penny from the fed.

Gov Murphy of New Jersey had a hyperactive fit in the media yesterday when he heard the Senator McConnell was not going to allow a "bailout" of all 50 state governments.
Look at this rant:
But without federal aid, Murphy said, states will be forced to lay off public workers and gut the living daylights out of the exact services that our citizens need right now." We will just cut, cut, cut, and cut, he continued. "We wont go bankrupt, senator, but we will leave our citizens in the lurch at their most profound hour of need. We will leave people on the beach, alone, helpless. That is what will happen in New Jersey. And that will happen in Kentucky. You have my word. So watch your words, sir, Murphy said. This is the time to stand up on a bipartisan basis and be there for the states in America, not just for the states sake, but for the American people. Please, God.
You can't even travel to a beach in New Jersey. The cops (who want their salary "bailed out" by the Feds) will arrest citizens for "nonessential travel."
But before the cops are furloughed or have their pay cut, what about the "Diversity and Inclusion" executives who do absolutely NOTHING except legally discriminate and persecute whites, men, heterosexuals, and Christians?
An article yesterday said there is a job ad at a Minnesota university for a "Diversity and Inclusion" vice chair - to the tune nearly half a million per year in salary and benefits.
This insanity is the FIRST thing that should be destroyed.
But, we all know, it won't be.
Carpenters, electricians, landscapers, painters - they can all be ruined and destroyed by this mess. But "Diversity" thugs at the state, local, and university level? Untouchable.
True small businesses will not see a dime of that SBA money.
