EVERETT, Wash. -- Snohomish County Sheriff Adam Fortney has become the latest sheriff in Washington to voice his displeasure at the state's current "Stay at Home" orders amid the COVID-19 outbreak and reiterated his vow not to enforce it.
Fortney took to Facebook late Monday night in a several-paragraph statement questioning Gov. Jay Inslee's plans amid what Fortney called were "drastic measures as the suspension of constitutional rights."
While acknowledging that the COVID-19 outbreak is "a very serious issue and the appropriate precautions need to be taken to protect our most vulnerable populations," Fortney stated he's concerned about small businesses and why some businesses are allowed to continue to operate as essential business, while others are told to shut down.

This is the 2nd or 3rd largest County in Washington State.
There is a long letter penned by the Sheriff that is very good at the source.
This county is where most of the Boeing production plants are located, Everett Naval Station, and the city of Everett.
What really needs to happen is all these closed businesses in
these counties need to open using the phase 1 guidelines. If that starts there would be no stopping it.
why certainly inslee has a plan, it is the “western states pact.”

Snohomish County Council has a good man on it too: Dave Somers. He’s in my Ham club. So far, he’s not saying much.
Sure he has a plan.
Hold his people hostage until Fedzilla coughs up a big enough bailout.
Do whatever he can to crush a Trump economic recovery.
History will judge Governors like Inslee very harshly. I’m also going to guess that some court cases will prevent this from happening again.

I heard Governor Inslee on the Sunday show the other day - and he’s got that good old boy LBJ sounding tone to him - which obviously got him to where he’s at - but in the end if you’re an executive you got a run things and have ideas he can’t just be full of platitudes
Washington was the first state where this SHI tea hit the fan - and it certainly looks like it’s over there
so he and the rest of these governors are going to want to continue to keep things shut down are going to have a very difficult time with that line
The state gets lots of tax money from pot shops. No way would he shut that down.
