My oh my. You chose poorly. Anyone have the medieval movie pick of the guy saying that?

Sounds like an excellent target opportunity.

Well, like someone said on here, the company is private and can make it's own decisions. Something about Trump asking an oil company to wind down operations in Venezuela. I agree with that, but got flamed by Uncle_Sham here:

Exxon recently “gave” a refinery to the People’s Republic of Venezuela.
They will not have to give this one to China.
Instead, the CPC will just steal Exxon’s technology and build Chinese imitations.

I haven’t been to an Exxon or Mobil, or ExxonMobil station, in many, many years. That won’t change.

Correct - this is what the CCP is up to. And if there is an accident - they will demand XOM payup bigtime

We are at war; comments still stand. China should be left alone until they have a new government.

All well and good.
However, if there are economic sanctions against the country they chose to make products in; they should not expect to be exempt from said sanctions. Additionally, if the venture fails, they should not be bailed out with American tax dollars.
