He’s the best governor we’ve had down here in a long time. He was under intense media pressure to issue draconian lockdown provisions and refused. He also didn’t shut businesses until he had to. We never had irrational rules like in Michigan or other blue states and were able to continue church services and recreational activities throughout. Our numbers, when you back out south Florida, are fantastic and even if you include them, our mortality rate is relatively low compared to other states. Desantis has done fantastic for us.
