Dr. Martenson completely destroys both the Santa Clara, CA and Chelsea, MA studies.
He's in favor of seriologic tests but says these two tests are both fatally flawed.

He identifies the specific tests that the studies used. Neither had a high specificity. He explains the importance of that. It can have a high false positives.
The Stanford Santa Clara test used was in a comparison done by Denmark and was ranked the worst out of 9 antibody tests.
They advertised the test on facebook. So it wasn't random. It may have drawn people who wanted a COVID test but couldn't get tested anywhere else.
The authors also had opinion pieces in the WSJ referring to each other as experts, without disclosing that it was their own study they were talking about.
The Stanford study said that if the test was shown to have a spedificity of < 97.9%, that there estimates would fall from 2.8% of the county's population to 1% and the error of margin would include 0 cases.
The test they used was a Chinese test and has been shown to have a specificity of 8%7It could have a huge number of false positives.
The Massachusetts test also had a low specificity if 88.66%, again meaning potentially a lot of false positives.
