I agree with your point, and have known too many people who died in motorcycle accidents, but I think the odds of dying on a motorcycle are much lower than that.
Here in California fatal small plane crashes often involve pilots who are medical doctors. Maybe they should stick to medicine and stay away from piloting and politics.

The first time after that class that my then husband and I took the bikes out for a ride on the back roads he was behind me, and later said he was petrified the entire time. He could see that I was unsure, stiff, and scared. Which I was. Plus, my mind was not 100% "there" the whole time.
I quickly realized that I had no business whatsoever riding motorcycles. That was the first and last time. You have to grow up riding them (as my ex did, and he also raced them) to be competent, I believe.
