Every little bit helps, but...you touched on a challenge w/regard to the sun’s anti-virus benefits, i.e., it’s impossible to get direct sun on most indoor surfaces. As far as I know, there are no anti-virus effects from sun that is filtered through glass.
Glass tends to block most relevant UV light. That’s why you won’t sunburn sitting in your car with the windows up.
