Me too on Safari.I have no problem at all on my Mac, with Safari. I can get on FR ok on my iPhone X, but I get a security message, when I try to enter my password.

I got in, bookmarked this, and then changed the bookmark name in file Properties to Corona Virus Daily Thread #46 COVID-19.

I just set up an exception in FF to bypass it.

"Firefox let me bypass it."And me. I proceeded on and the world did not end. Got on OK, did not see any evidence that anyone else was having any problems, so I rebooted my puter, got a MS message that I needed some updates, which I allowed, and I think 3 out of 5 got successfully installed. Looks like all systems go.

Gotcha. I use Explorer and Firefox on my desktop and warnings about security issues pop up. I can access and navigate from my Androud with no problem.

Thanks for update.
I always hate installing new certs. It’s done infrequently enough that I never get much practice. And the new wildcard certs never seem to go in as easy as the instructions say they should.

No problem...I recall there was a glitch with Firefox a few years ago which didn’t recognize it, but we all just told our browsers to continue to FR for FReedom!

Once it’s up, you can force https on the entire domain using the .htaccess file. It’s simply a redirect. Very easy and common to do. That way all traffic is encrypted all the time. You can also do it selectively for things like login, mail, payment pages.

Everyone should be able to just use the http site. My understanding is that with the standard internet protocols, if someone wants to intercept your text or news that you are reading, they can and you can’t tell. Not that anyone or operation goes to that trouble, its not easy to do.
To: Jim Robinson
That explains a lot. I just sent a F-Mail which you can ignore. The link is in a foreign language anyway. LOL!
Thanks for letting us know. I bypassed the warning in Firefox, too, and then was afraid it was a virus in itself.
