This stuff does lay waste if it gets inside a nursing home.
It does require that level of vigilance.
Unfortunately many nursing homes are poorly managed.

Yep. They locked down all the young healthy people, and then actual medical professionals ran around infecting all the most vulnerable.
A majority of our breakouts in Virginia were long-term care facilities. Again, not because of visitors, who were barred, but they assume because some medical workers brought it in, and then spread it. One facility had most all of their people infected, and 46 deaths.
I think I have this virus. All week I’ve been tired as hell and been having trouble breathing and then I read when it starts off there’s no mucus? As Spock would say “Fascinating”.

Briarcliff Skilled Nursing reports additional COVID-19 cases

Briarcliff Skilled Nursing has updated its COVID-19 numbers. They are now up to 12 residents and eight staff who have tested positive for the virus.
24 residents and 10 employees have been tested, with six resident tests and one employee test coming back negative. They currently have four pending cases for residents and one pending for an employee. They have also had two resident deaths due to COVID-19, which were previously reported.
Steve, 99% of the population does not need to waste their precious little time on earth doing this. What is suggested here is only applicable to those few who come in direct contact with those who are at risk from COVID complications;
