Karen is a mocking slang term for an entitled, obnoxious, middle-aged white woman.
What this article seems to have overlooked is the danger of this precedent being used for justification of dangerous economic measures related to the climate change overhype.
I am certain we will be hearing at a time in the not so distant future that if we could make this sacrifice for some sick old people, then we can blah blah for the childruns and their future survival.
In fact there probably isn’t any cause of the political left that does not involve normal people being penned up in their homes or somewhere else. Right, Karen?

Karen is usually a suburbanite. Many times she is divorced and has left her husband and taken the kids. Karen belittles employees in stores and restaurants and always "Wants to speak to your manager. At work, she is know as "Karen in HR". Karen is also a wino.
