If Americans are expected to go to the supermarket, on average once per week for the next 35+ weeks, and take proper precautions while doing so, then we can probably figure out how to goto the polls *once* and stay safe.

He should not be on CNN so we can hear about his hopes or his worries. Every concern he has is used as political ammo, and at the level he is at he should know it.
He doesn’t really say anything of value. He presents both sides of the case and then washes his hands of it. In a medical staff meeting these are the types of guys that change what should be a 30 minute meeting into a two hour session. Most of the decision makers listen politely to his type while thinking to themselves “Thank you captain obvious”. Now even though I personally find this annoying I allow it to a point because it is done in a private meeting with professionals.
He puts up worse case scenarios to people who will only focus on worse case scenarios and not the context he puts them in. But it gives him cover if the worst case scenario happens. Putting up a worst case scenario even if it is unlikely is ok in a private meeting- not on public television.
So maybe he isn’t a weasel- in charity he may simply be clueless- or more likely just likes the limelight or to hear himself talk.
