We needed to lockdown everyone who is vulnerable and then spread the virus quickly to everyone else. It was the only logical course of action.
What do in six months when we still don’t have herd immunity?
We’re up to 550,000 known cases and 22,000 deaths.
We need to get to 240 million cases to get herd immunity.
So 436 times as many people need to get sick.
What’s 436 times 22,000 deaths?
Here’s how we can get closer to herd immunity and save the cruise ship industry.
Let’s take all the flubros who are willing to get infected to get us closer to herd immunity, and put them on cruise ships. We make sure they all get a heavy dose. And we keep them quarantined for 28 days
They have to test positive while on the ship. And then they have to test negative multiple times before we let them back into society.
And we keep doing this over and over, until there are no more flubros willing to get infected or the country successfully implements a better solution, whichever comes first.
Flubros will get a 35% discount on the cruise and a year to pay.
I’m still waiting for the “zombie apocalypse” phase of coronavirus. Though it seems to be affecting the MSM first.

Since I ( and family) very likely already had the Wuhanic Plague, do we get a free cruise?
If we do it right the first time we won’t have to shut it down again in 6 months. And we won’t have to infect 240 million Americans either.
You get the 35% discount. You’ll have to stay on the ship until you either test positive and then negative. Or until the antibody test becomes available and you can prove you have immunity. The fee for the test is not included with the cruise.
This farce is NOT doing it right. By isolating large parts of the population, you create a large pool of people that has not been exposed, developed no antibodies, and are prime to catch this if it were to come back in 6 months or 6 years. You can’t hide from it, you just delay the majority of the population from being infected. Don’t count on any vaccine either; most are 47-50 effective at best and that does not take into account the anti-vaxxers and the lame and lazy who do not get vaccinated in the first place. Vaccination only builds antibodies and that is never a permanent condition. This virus has a 98% recovery rate and most have mild to no symptoms, are never hospitalized. I’m 69 and in that “at-risk” group. I am in good health, have taken proper precautions during flu and pneumonia outbreaks for years, and I’m sure, because of where I work that I and a lot of my colleagues were exposed late last fall. Some of us experienced mild to maybe week long flu-like symptoms that we all recovered from. If I were tested today, I would bet big money that I have already been exposed. This virus was in the U.S. longer than the official narrative says.
You assume the only solution is herd immunity. It’s not.
We are going to pay a terrible price if we don’t have a better solution than herd immunity.
How can we be doing it right if we’re gonna be in the exact same situation in two months? You’ll still have 80% of the American people an infected.
The terrible price is going to be a great depression.
are “they” going after a flu vaccine solution? so, voluntary free vaccines in sept-oct? for most of usa?

I don’t know that we are going to have a great depression. But the economy was going to get rocked lock down or not.
The market was already falling.
Flights were being cancelled.
Restaurant traffic was down.
The economy was already taking a hit. The way to restore it, is to restore confidence that you can go sit down at a restaurant and not be at risk of catching it.
If you lock down hard enough, so the asymptomatic carries can’t give it to anyone else. And if you don’t allow it to enter your community from the outside, then new cases should drop dramatically in 3 to 4 weeks.
