A better account is the 1974 TV "movie" (more like a play as it was shot on videotape)
THE MISSILES OF OCTOBER. Ken O'Donnell is portrayed in the movie and has little to do with anything. In fact, at the start of the movie, JFK (William Devane) upbraids him for stressing that Cuba is an unimprtant campaign issue (this is after JFK had seen the U2 photos).
