A judge in Louisville, Kentucky issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) that would stop Mayor Greg Fischer from preventing a church from having a drive-in Easter service.
According to the First Liberty Institute, a religious law group, the TRO was filed on Friday in the US District Court for the Western District of Kentucky on behalf of On Fire Christian Church located in Louisville.
Judge Justin Walker granted the order on Saturday, preventing the city from "enforcing; attempting to enforce; threatening to enforce; or otherwise requiring compliance with any prohibition on drive-in church services at On Fire," according to court documents.

The Courts are going to start to weigh in on all this soon. It will be. Mixed bag but, you have to wonder how Judges will view the outright suspension of our constitutional rights.
Half Whit needs to be dragged before the Mi SC today. We still have the majority there.
And now for a Hawaii judge to reverse it.
I pray some people are waking up.
I still think the church is being silly and should just hold a virtual service.
But maybe this will quiet the “America is giving up her rights” fear mongers.
Newsflash: Courts still work in America.
You’ll be suicidal by the middle of the week. I shall pray for you.
The Governors and Mayors better be able to show with facts backed by science that the continued open ended restrictions are justified.
The pushback is starting......
Good. I wish it extended to Comrade Bashear’s order to record license tag numbers and to hunt down the car’s owners of those attending church tomorrow.
FINALLY someone is fighting back against these fascist outrages ...
You must be looking at Lansing and thinking..well you know.
We might never know. The weather’s warming up. Herds are getting immune. And curves are flattening or whatever it is that curves do.
If the judge has ruled it can go on, then taking license numbers is also a violation. The judge has said they have a legal right to be there.
I would love to understand why Kentucky still votes for Democrats.
we have older people at our church who either dont have internet or dont care to use it, but would much rather drive and sit in their car in a drive in service, to see other peoples faces is good for them in the mental health standpoint, be isolated at home is not good for most people mentally.
Libs on twitter having meltdown.
I think this may be a newly, Trump appointed judge.
Well, when you think about it anybody, anywhere, can be arrested.
But they have three days to charge you. No longer!
So how can we all be “arrested” at home for months at a time?
How exactly?
It’s a drive in service. Drive to church, Park and listen on the radio
My family worked for more than two decades inside communist countries. We know the reason that even a drive-in service during these times is important to genuine Christians.
I am involved NOW thrice weekly in Internet preaching to congregations inside a communist country. When they comment, it is always with a question, "Oh, we look for the day we can be together again and see one anothers' countenances. It is NOT the same on a computer screen or mobile phone.
You have the right to think it "silly" and call it "silly," but please defend worship according to the dictates of their consciences.
I’m in Florida. I have a boat for sale in Harrison twp mi with a 3000$. The deal will fall through, Who wants to buy a boat you can’t use? My sister has a cottage in Caseville Mi. Her edict is you can’t drive to a second home. Now I really hate her.
