Sure just for one thing...someone shows up in an ER and their Pulse Ox..is below 93%...it's NOT panic time.

There are people out there...that run in the high 80's...That is their norm.

I could try to explain the OxyHemoglobin Disassociation Curve to you... but it won't make sense to you.

I'm RRT...I do not get worried until someone's Pulse Ox reading is under 80....That's when the curve falls off precipitously.

Why do you believe I wouldn't understand it? I work in healthcare and drug development; while I'm not a HCW myself, I routinely work with doctors and clinical researchers. I also have an aging parent with COPD, so I'm quite familiar with the process.

I was asking you to back up your original comments; my request was not in any way mean-spirited.
