The Emporer’s New Plague has always lacked the piled up corpses necessary to sustain the panic.
It will keep going here at Free Republic for several more months at least because the people who panicked have stated thing to those who did not which they will not be able to walk back and justifiably so.
As has been pointed out here more than once, the fact that the NYC subway has not been shut down speaks louder than anything Fredo’s brother might say at one of his briefings.
