Why on earth would the TVA outsource jobs to INDIA?!
I bet he is an Obama Rat.
Many [TVA executives] make over a million dollars running an agency set up to render energy and aid to a poor region in our country that still suffers economically in many areas, Cohen told The Post.
How does this type of crap start?
I have wondered about some of these salaries.
The civil servants — up to GS-15 — have pay schedules that are published. I think they top out at around $150K or thereabouts.
But above GS-15 you get into the Senior Executives System (SES). I think they can get paid whatever the government wants to pay them. Which, apparently, can be a lot.
The Deep State is not made up of GS-15 types. It’s well paid SES creatures.
This is a contract, I don’t think it will change............................
Wonder what the source of grants for is compensation is?
How about Washington you are fired..
The TVA began with a laudable mission: to bring hydro-electric power to the citizens living in the watershed of the entire Tennessee River valley. If a creek ultimately emptied into the Tennessee River, it and the land around it came under TVA’s purview.
It was a bumpy ride for awhile, as people were dispaced due to the lakes flooding the land behind all the dams that went up. Lives and livelihoods were changed forever and they let the government know.
But once the mission was accomplished, a huge federal agency slipped out of the public eye. But it never went away...
Just dam.
His comp seems to be in line with the CEOs of comparable utilities.
And wait'll govt workers retire.....

2008: The Kingston Fossil Plant coal fly ash slurry spill was an environmental and industrial disaster that occurred on Monday December 22, 2008, when a dike ruptured at a coal ash pond at the Tennessee Valley Authority's Kingston Fossil Plant in Roane County, Tennessee, releasing 1.1 billion US gallons (4.2 million cubic metres) of coal fly ash slurry. The coal-fired power plant, located across the Clinch River from the city of Kingston, uses ponds to dewater the fly ash, a byproduct of coal combustion, which is then stored in ponds. It was the largest fly ash release and worst coal ash-related disaster in United States history
2013: The former head of one of America's biggest nuclear power construction programs admitted Wednesday that he illegally sent money to Iran in violation of U.S. sanctions. Masoud Bajestani, the Iranian-born nuclear engineer who previously served as a TVA vice president in charge of finishing the Unit 2 reactor at the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, agreed to forfeit the $600,000 authorities said he illegally sent to Iran from 2008 to 2010. Bajestani now faces up to five years in prison for violating U.S. sanctions imposed after Iran refused to suspend its uranium enrichment program.
2011: A subcontractor employee at the Tennessee Valley Authoritys Watts Bar Nuclear Plant has been charged with lying about power system inspections at the only site in the nation where a reactor is being built, prosecutors said Thursday. Matthew David Correll, 31, of Hixson was charged in a two-count indictment with making false statements. Prosecutors said Correll lied about measuring cables that would supply power to a safety system at the reactor site. The indictment shows the charges, which officials said would not delay the reactors construction, stem from paperwork filed in August 2010.
HELLO!!! STOP THIS MADNESS!
