CBS has a reputation for fabricating news stories and then broadcasting the made-up events. I am thinking of one in Vietnam, and I recall in the early sixty’s they fabricated a demonstration in the south (actually paid the kids), I think it was Mississippi.
The US leads the world in fake news media.
